Terms
Terms of Service
The agreement between your company and Groupkom Digital For Technology for the use of GKD Mail.
Last updated: 1 November 2026
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
GKD Mail is a hosted business email service operated by Groupkom Digital For Technology (“GKD”, “we”). These terms apply to the company that creates a GKD Mail account (“you”) and to everyone who uses its mailboxes.
By creating an account you accept these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Refund and Cancellation Policy, and confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy. If you accept them for a company, you confirm that you may act for it.

2. The service
- Mailboxes on the domains you own, with storage shared by the whole company: 10 GB with the first paid mailbox, and more in 10 GB blocks.
- Webmail at webmail.gkdmail.com, and access from mail apps over IMAP and SMTP.
- A dashboard for the company owner: domains, mailboxes, aliases, forwarding, auto-replies, mail import, invoices and support tickets.
- Support through tickets in the dashboard, in Arabic or English.
3. Early access
GKD Mail is offered as “early access”. We are still adding features and may change, improve or remove parts of the service. We work to keep it available and secure, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we do not offer a service level agreement at this stage.
4. Your account and security
- Give accurate company, contact and billing details, and keep them up to date.
- The company owner must use two-factor authentication. Keep passwords, authenticator codes and recovery codes secret: you are responsible for what is done with your account and mailboxes.
- You decide who receives a mailbox, and you are responsible for its users following these terms and the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Tell us at once, through a support ticket or by email, if you suspect that someone has accessed your account or a mailbox without permission.
- You are responsible for your domains and their DNS records. Our backups are only for recovering from a disaster, so keep your own copy of any mail you are required to keep.
5. Limits
- Each mailbox can send to up to 100 recipients per day and 50 per hour.
- A message, with its attachments, can be up to 25 MB.
- A signed-in mailbox sends only from its own address or one of its aliases.
- Up to 20 aliases and 5 forwarding addresses per mailbox.
- Storage is shared by the company. When it is full, incoming mail is refused temporarily, so the sending server tries again later, until space is freed or added.
- When importing mail from another provider, messages over 50 MB are skipped.
6. Prices, billing and renewal
- Prices are in Qatari riyals (QAR) and are shown in the dashboard before you order. The service is prepaid for whole years: you choose 1 to 5 years.
- Your subscription year starts when the first payment is confirmed. Mailboxes and storage added later are charged only for the days left until your renewal date.
- Mailboxes and storage can be reduced only at renewal. A reduction applies from the next period and is never refunded.
- Renewal is not automatic and we never charge a card by ourselves: to continue, the company owner pays a renewal invoice from the dashboard before the paid period ends.
- Payment is by card through SADAD, or by bank transfer to the account shown in the dashboard. A card payment activates the order as soon as SADAD confirms it; a bank transfer, once we see the money in our account.
- Invoices and receipts are sent by email as PDF files and are available in the dashboard.
7. Refunds and cancellation
Paid periods are not refunded, nor are mailboxes or storage you reduce at renewal. You can cancel an invoice that has not been paid. Duplicate or erroneous charges are refunded to the original card or account. The details are in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
8. Suspension
We may suspend a mailbox or the whole account if it breaches the Acceptable Use Policy or these terms, if it puts the service or other customers at risk, if the law requires it, or if the paid period has ended without a paid renewal. We tell the company owner by email, before the suspension where we can. In urgent cases, such as spam, phishing or a compromised mailbox, we may suspend at once and tell you afterwards. We restore the service once the cause is resolved.
9. Ending the service and your data
- You may stop using the service at any time. To close the account, email us from the company owner's address (the address is in section 14); there is no self-service closing yet.
- We may end the service for a serious or repeated breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
- When the subscription ends or the account is closed, mail and account data are kept for 30 days, then deleted. Move or export your mail before then: deleted mail cannot be restored through GKD Mail. Encrypted copies can remain in our server backups for up to 40 more days, only for disaster recovery.
- Invoices, payment records and the audit log are kept as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Your content
Your mail and data remain yours. You allow us only what is needed to provide the service: to store, scan for spam and viruses, deliver, forward as you set it, and back up your mail. We access the content of your mail only to provide the service, when you ask us to in a support ticket, to investigate abuse or a security incident, or where the law requires it.
11. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of profit, business or data, and our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the laws of the State of Qatar.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service, our practices or the law change. Before a material change takes effect, we email the company owner, and we publish the new version on this page with a new date. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply; if you do not accept them, you may close the account as described in section 9.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Doha have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. Please contact us first, so we can try to resolve the matter together.
